Furiends my darling Nocturne has had a very busy day! Not only is she still settling into her new marina, she also come out of the water ready for her big refurbishments that are going to take place this winter.
Puerto Addaya is absolutely beautiful, my humans have been sending me pictures and I’m still jealous that I’m not there.
The humans have walked up the hill several times to get to the supermarket and the view over the marina is gorgeous.
Today Noccy has been lifted out of the water and it’s always a moment that makes my heart skip a beat. I made sure that I was up to date on her progress via a live video. The lovely marina staff did an excellent job and Nocturne is now safely on the hard ready for some serious TLC.
Noccy came out extremely clean because before dad left Rome, he got the marina diver to scrape off all of the growth on her so that they had an excellent sail from Italy to Spain.
Shortly Nocturne’s mast will be coming down and having lots of work done to it. She’s also having a brand new rig, all the existing standing rigging will be replaced and everything else is going to be refurbished. Nocturne is going to be like a brand new lady next summer.
It’s going to be the biggest project we’ve done on Nocturne in years and I’m so excited to share it with all of you.
I hope you all have a pawesome weekend.
Bisous, Bailey
This is awesome news Bailey! Keep us updated. ❤️💕🌴

We are completely ignorant when it comes to caring for a boat. Bailey, you are so smart and worldly.

Don’t feel bad, dear brofur. Our Mom has been working on her 50th H.S. reunion since last July, and we are absent way more than we’d like to be. The reunion is 9/30, so after hat we should be on track better. Have Mom Lou and Dad James set a date for their wedding, or did we miss that as well? Sending lots of love. 💖 XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
